Although we didn't have our own stand at Designblok 2024 this year, our work was still visible in two locations. For Europapier, we designed and supplied a custom stand where they presented their book collection. Additionally, we provided furniture for the exhibition space of *Dolce Vita* magazine. These projects perfectly demonstrate how flexible and practical our furniture is—it works not only in interiors but also in temporary spaces such as trade fairs or pop-up stores.
Our goal was to deliver furniture that not only looks good but also meets the requirements for functionality and easy assembly and disassembly. Petr Lacina told us about the collaboration with Europapier.
Question: How did you decide to collaborate with Fleysen for Designblok?
Answer: We knew we wanted to display books, but we lacked the necessary furniture. Designblok recommended several companies, and Fleysen caught our attention right at the first meeting. The designers came with a clear concept and already had a vision of what the stand would look like. They showed us drawings at the first meeting, which impressed us.
“The brief was clear—a library, as we wanted to display books. We also needed pallets of paper because we are paper specialists and sell paper. And since we're here all day, it also serves as a relaxation area where we can sit if no one is around.”

Question: How was the execution? Did everything go as expected?
Answer: The collaboration was excellent. We clicked both personally and professionally, and the execution went smoothly. I was surprised by their attention to detail; for example, the rubber bands on the books were aligned perfectly. The color of the furniture was custom-made. Every detail was thought through and perfectly executed.

Question: Did you have any specific requirements?
Answer: We wanted a library for displaying books and a space for paper pallets. We also needed storage space for samples. The team at Fleysen suggested several options and quickly responded to our needs.
“They arrived at a quarter to eleven with everything needed, and by one o'clock, everything was set up. The collaboration was fantastic, and their attention to detail amazed me—everything was precisely aligned, and the cabinet perfectly matched the shelf.”

Question: How do you rate your collaboration with Fleysen?
Answer: The collaboration was exceptional. The furniture looked great, but what really surprised me was the speed of assembly—everything was completed within three hours. Customers noticed the quality of the furniture, and although we had many books, the stand didn't feel crowded. It was airy and functional.

Our collaboration with Europapier at Designblok showed that Fleysen furniture is ideal not only for trade shows, exhibition stands, and pop-up stores but also for anyone looking for flexible and custom solutions. If you’re interested in collaborating, we would be happy to design custom furniture for you—adjusting colors, structure, and even designing entire interior solutions.
