General questions

Do you offer a warranty on your products?

In the Czech Republic, the standard statutory warranty for goods is 24 months from the date of purchase. If any manufacturing defect occurs during this period, the customer has the right to request repair, replacement, discount, or in the case of significant defects, a refund.

However, as a manufacturer of designer metal furniture, we are convinced of the high quality of our products and provide an extended warranty of 10 years . This warranty is a testament to our confidence in the quality and durability of our products. At the same time , we guarantee the availability of spare parts for our products for 10 years.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear. This extended warranty and parts availability guarantee gives our customers even more confidence when purchasing our products.

Do you have a brick-and-mortar store?

We do not have a traditional brick-and-mortar store, but we do have a showroom in Prague . You can also view the entire range in our factory in Plesná . However, you can view our furniture in a number of publicly accessible locations:

Do you offer furniture assembly?

We do not offer furniture assembly, but each piece of furniture comes with simple assembly instructions. Many products also have video instructions. Some collections, such as PopUp, are delivered assembled.

Where is Fleysen furniture made?

Fleysen products are manufactured on the Czech-German border, specifically in the town of Plesná, near Cheb. Our factory has a long tradition of metal manufacturing dating back to 1960.

Products

I would be interested in a custom color.

We offer the option of custom painting according to the RAL chart. The price is determined by the minimum production quantity of the color, availability and price of the pigment. For a specific offer, write to us .

How to care for metal furniture so that it lasts as long as possible?

Our metal furniture is powder coated and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

How do you address the offset from the wall of the shelf if they have a floor rail and have a floor shelf?

We solve this with a plastic spacer tube, which is included in the package of each floor shelf and is always in the color of the shelf. Watch our instructional video: How to attach a Fleysen shelf to a wall with a strip .

Is there a catch?

We paint furniture while it is hung on hooks, which can cause the paint to not get everywhere. The result may be a small piece of raw metal. We place this possible "defect" in the least visible places so that it does not affect the appearance of your interior.

Are your products sustainable?

Yes, we are committed to sustainability and our products are made from recyclable materials. We support repairs and offer spare parts availability to minimize waste. You can read more in our article Greenwashing is not in our vocabulary .

How to properly dispose of filling and packaging material?

For Fleysen shelves, bulletin boards and cabinets #1310, #1311:

  • Cardboard and paper: These materials are recyclable and should be placed in paper containers.
  • Flo-Pak BIO Fixing Bodies: These bodies are biodegradable and can be composted or disposed of in organic waste .

For cabinets #2010, #2011, #2012, #2014, #2015:

  • Cardboard and paper: Again, recyclable, so place them in paper containers.
  • Bubble wrap: You can dispose of this wrap as plastic waste if it is not dirty.
  • Polystyrene: Polystyrene should be placed in plastic waste containers. Some areas may have special collection points for polystyrene, so check with your local authorities for options.
Do you offer custom manufacturing and customized products?

Of course! Fleysen furniture can be customized both in terms of construction and color. We are able to modify existing products, paint any color variations or develop a custom product. For more information, please contact us.

Is it possible to use Fleysen products outdoors?

No, Fleysen products are for indoor use only. Our furniture and materials are designed to meet high standards for indoor use and are not exposed to weather conditions that could affect their durability and appearance. Using our products outdoors could result in damage and void the warranty.

Shipping and complaints

What is the delivery time of your products?

We ship stock items immediately and depending on their weight, delivery time is a few days. Items in production have a delivery time of 3-6 weeks according to the production schedule. Custom production may have a similar or longer delivery time depending on the complexity of the modifications.

What carriers do you use?

We offer delivery of goods via GLS throughout the Czech Republic and to European Union countries. You also have the option of personal collection at our factory in Plesná.

I don't like the product and I want to return it, how do I proceed?

We respect the rights of our customers and understand that sometimes a purchase may not be exactly as expected. If you have purchased goods on our website, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. In order for us to refund you, the goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging. We will refund the money for the returned goods within 14 days of the date on which we receive the notification of withdrawal from the contract. Please note that there are certain exceptions to the right of withdrawal, for example for goods modified according to your wishes or goods that have been used in a way that goes beyond the normal handling of the goods and is necessary for the consumer to verify the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

For a successful return, please follow these steps:

  1. Prepare the goods: Make sure the product is in its original packaging, unopened and without signs of use.
  2. Contact Customer Support: Inform us of your intention to return the goods. You can contact us by email at info@fleysen.com or by phone at +420 734 772 809 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 14:00).
  3. Arrange shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping the return. Make sure to package the item securely to prevent damage during shipping.
  4. Send the goods: After confirmation from our customer support, send the goods to our address:

The goods must be delivered by 2:00 PM.

Once we receive the returned goods and check their condition, we will refund the product to your account as soon as possible.

The goods arrived damaged, what should I do next?

Although we try to pay attention to every detail, it is possible that a product may arrive damaged during shipping. We provide a 10-year warranty on all products and will do our best to ensure your satisfaction. Your feedback helps us improve the production, packaging and delivery process.

If you have received damaged goods, please proceed as follows:

  1. Contact Customer Support: Please contact us as soon as possible by email at info@fleysen.com or by phone at +420 734 772 809 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
  2. Attach photos: Attach photos of the damaged item to your report. Photos will help us identify and resolve the issue more quickly.
  3. Describe the problem: Please describe in detail how the item is damaged. The more information you provide, the faster we will be able to resolve your complaint.

We handle complaints quickly and individually. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Once we receive all the necessary information, we will contact you as soon as possible with further steps.

I found an unpainted spot.
