Solid vision, quality design
What helped to achieve a quality solution was the clear vision of the client, Michaela. She knew that she wanted a bright interior in a Nordic style, the inclusion of oak wood, white and a strong color accent . Of course, taking into account the historical value and style of the entire building.
In addition to aesthetic requirements, the designers of Fleysen Studio had to take into account practical ones in the 38 m² area - they needed to design the interior to suit two people at work, to have space for meetings , and as a bonus, they tried to incorporate a smaller relaxation zone into the room.
How to work with a historic interior in a modern way
The designers decided to let the coffered ceiling stand out and add two or three bold or more massive elements to it – a wooden table, a plywood bookcase and a rice paper chandelier. This connected the entire space and the rest of the furniture and accessories were chosen to be lighter, more discreet, seemingly floating.
A warm red shade was chosen as a striking color element, which perfectly complements the light oak veneer and universal white. The result is a bright office that is full of harmony and inspiration thanks to the coordinating colors and the meeting of the past with the present.

The designers complemented the coffered ceiling with mostly light colors, as requested by the client, Michaela.
