After two successful collections in collaboration with designers Filip Mirbauer and Michal Strach, who remain as art directors of Fleysen, we decided to surprise a little this year and went abroad for inspiration. The latest furniture collection will be designed by a German design studio  eigenform .

Felix Wissing from the Leipzig studio eigenform

The eigenform studio is led by Felix Wissing in collaboration with graphic designer Camilla Le Lous and product designer Fabian Seyde, who are cooperative partners. Felix is a product and interior designer with a strong focus on social and environmental sustainability. In the name of the circular economy, he seeks simple, contemporary solutions and combines his technical knowledge with creative experiments. Frenchwoman Camille Le Lous , a renaissance design personality who is a graphic designer at heart, but also devotes herself to interior or textile design. Fabian Seyde has many years of experience in the construction and development of furniture from Thonet.

A common weakness for sustainability

The choice of a studio that places such an emphasis on circularity and environmental friendliness is of course no coincidence. It is difficult to imagine the functioning of the Fleysen brand without sustainability. Our production takes place in the Czech Republic, metal products are fully recyclable or made directly from recycled materials. We use plastics from biomass that can be composted, and since 2018 we have reduced CO 2 production in production by 45%.

Be surprised by what the new collection of sustainable furniture that will emerge from Czech-German friendship will look like.
