Custom-made addition to a classic kitchen

The kitchen furniture collection includes hanging shelves and variable open and closed cabinets. The concept is intended as a complement to a fully equipped kitchen or for occasional use, e.g. at a cottage or in short-term rentals. If you are so impressed by the design that you do not want any other furniture in your kitchen, we will be happy to make a custom-made kitchen unit or an entire custom-made kitchen for you.

Tolerable lightness of perforation

The designers also worked with perforation, which is slowly becoming our trademark and which gives the metal material the necessary airiness . This time, they also developed it into the handle solution for the cabinets. The handles are essentially enlarged holes from the classic perforation. The collection also includes a perforated wall plate on which you can hang hooks for tools and decorations.

Usability comes first

As always , utility and function are essential for us. All kitchen parts are easy to clean and are enriched with subtle details that make them easier to use . For example, the metal plate in the handle opening is angled to direct the hand with its shadow and shape for easier opening.

The kitchen is alive - installation at Designblok

Because the kitchen is not just a technical room, but is often used for receiving visitors and having long conversations, the minimalist Fleysen collection provides plenty of space for displaying decorations and artifacts . How the purity of the predominantly light-colored furniture fits in with the design objects on display was something visitors to Designblok 2022 could see directly in the installation – it included original objects by UMPRUM students from the KOV studio under the leadership of Prof. Eva Eisler.
