CANS, which you may have seen in stores or on the shelves of online supermarkets, offers pastel-colored cans of unsweetened drinks – just a few drops of natural juice and a little bubbles. One of CANS’s co-founders is Jan Rambousek, who shared with us his experience with Fleysen furniture in their Karlín offices.

How does our metal furniture correspond to your brand philosophy?

We chose the furniture because we were looking for something that would fit in with what we do. We sell drinks in cans, so we work with sheet metal, so metal furniture seemed logical.

How did the design for your office interior come about?

We knew we wanted a larger shelving unit and ended up designing it ourselves to fit our needs. We did everything in-house. It's important to us that we want to have creative control over what we do and this was no different. Plus it was only a few shelves :) so we managed it without any problems.

How do you perceive the quality of our furniture?

I think the price/performance ratio is great. We had the option to choose colors that matched our cans, which was great. Of course, if we wanted something more massive, we would have had to invest more. When we compared the price with the production by a carpenter, we found that a similar set would be three to four times more expensive. But considering the purpose of this set, it is completely sufficient.

How do your employees or visitors react to the furniture?

The employees love it. They especially appreciate the colors that bring life to the space. I think it would be boring without these colorful elements.

Was it important to you that we were a Czech company?

We didn't really discuss it, but it's nice to support local production. The cooperation was smooth and it went according to plan.

Would you recommend our brand to other companies?

I think your big advantage is the ability to customize colors. You have your standard shades, but for companies, the ability to customize your own colors is key, and not many other suppliers offer that. So yes, I would definitely recommend it.
