In the three years since the showroom opened, the customer base has grown , people are coming back for coffee, and Tomáš told us that he plans to move to larger spaces in the foreseeable future. However, he also managed to add a second standing shelf #1210 , this time in blue, and our practical metal bulletin board to the existing ones.
Tomáš, how would you evaluate your experience with Fleysen furniture after more than a year and a half in full operation?
It's great, the shelf works great, so we bought a second one and a bulletin board. Even though I know the shelves are supposed to be screwed to the wall, we just left them there so we could move them if necessary.
So you added a blue shelf and a blue bulletin board to the green shelf. How did you decide on the colors?
My girlfriend helped me with this, because I'm not that good at this. I liked almost all the color combinations, but in the end we decided on two darker colors to make the products stand out and to match the green. It's great that the products are connected in both color and design, and you can see the same style at first glance. We would like to add some more shelving on the wall, but that will only be possible in a larger space.
How are customers reacting to the new furniture? Have you received any comments or feedback?
We have only positive reactions. The specialty coffee attracts many people from creative fields, graphic designers or photographers often come here. Most of them think that the shelves are more expensive, that it is some special design piece for the cafe and they are pleasantly surprised by the price. I would also say that the price is great – it is only a little more expensive than a shelf made of the same material from a large chain. I was surprised that people also ask a lot about the bulletin board and want it for their home.
Do you feel that Fleysen furniture helps you express the concept and personality of your showroom?
I think so. We wanted to have a simple, clear brand that wasn't boring. So, incorporate color and nice shapes. And that's exactly what Fleysen is – a simple brand that's interesting in some way.
