The tenth anniversary episode of our series Je to doma! deserves something special. That's why we are proud to present you with an exhibition modules in the gardens of the Tomáš Bata Foundation in Zlín , where our metal shelves find themselves in the most exclusive company. Their subtle design and white color almost blend in with their surroundings, which is why they allow shoemakers' hooves, machines, or publications spreading the legacy of one of the most important entrepreneurs in our history to stand out.

We sat down in one of the modules with the director of the foundation, Gabriela Končitíková, who is behind the harmonious exhibition. We learned, among other things, why she chose our furniture as the exhibition area and what hidden connections exist between the Fleysen brand and the global phenomenon of Baťa.

We have already visited the BeBerry showroom in Prague's Vršovice . The owner and leading Czech-Slovak barista Tomáš Laca displayed his own selection of coffee in our iconic shelf #1210 in pale green . We are returning after more than a year, because more Fleysen metal pieces have been added to the coffee-scented space .

Our visit to Orlov in České Budějovice was in the spirit of a fun conversation among matching colors and quality materials . Exactly the way we like it. The mayor of the union, Cyril Kratochvíl, showed us around the entire house, where Fleysen furniture also makes a significant statement in the interior.

You probably already know that we manufacture Fleysen furniture in Plesná, on the Czech-German border. However, responsibility towards the environment and towards customers is far from limited to choosing the location where production takes place. That is why we looked at our impacts a little deeper and at the end of the year we had an analysis done by the eco-design studio Balance is Motion and LCA Studio to find out what kind of environmental footprint we are leaving behind.

You walk through the apartment of interior designer Ráchel Smékalová like a gallery. In every corner, a striking piece of furniture or a designer solitaire peeks out at you, while the opulent stucco ceiling silently observes your visit. Our two wall shelves #1212 have recently been added to the collection full of colors and elements with a story .

In one of our latest projects, Fleysen furniture (almost) looked to Taiwan. Architect Petr Danda incorporated it into the interior of the Prague offices of Taiwan's national airline, China Airlines.

Metal furniture was an obvious choice for the architect – firstly, it is a material that is used very often in Taiwan , and secondly , it is easy to paint . And Petr Danda's goal was to match the interior, including the furniture, to colors that match both the visual identity of China Airlines and the colors of the island nation.

Tomáš Laca, a top barista and owner of BeBerry Roastery, installed our tall, slim bestseller #1210 in his coffee showroom for business partners . The practical metal shelf in light green color became a storage space for premium coffee beans.
